Dr. Lisa Mruz

Dr. Lisa Mruz is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she completed both her dental degree as well as her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Mruz is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and joined University Pediatric Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Mruz completed her undergraduate education at University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Mruz has been serving as faculty in the department of Pediatric and Community Dentistry for the University at Buffalo since 1998, and also serves as an attending pediatric dentist for the pediatric dentistry specialty training program. Dr. Mruz serves as both clinical instructor for predoctoral students at the School of Dental Medicine, as well as Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Pediatric and Community Dentistry. Dr. Mruz has been awarded, twice, the William Tucker Scholarship, and has been an author on 3 published papers focusing on the infant dental home.

Dr. Mruz is a member of the following organizations: American Dental Education Association Council of Faculties, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Eighth District Dental Society, New York State Dental Society, Erie County Dental Society, Western New York Pediatric Dentistry Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Mruz enjoys teaching at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in addition to seeing her smiling patients!
