
Dr. Michael Phillips is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he completed both his Doctorate of Dental Surgery as well as his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. “Dr. Mike” joined University Pediatric Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Mike completed his undergraduate education at University of Alberta, Canada.
Dr. Mike has been serving as faculty in the department of Pediatric and Community Dentistry for the University at Buffalo since 1998, and also serves as an attending pediatric dentist for the pediatric dentistry specialty training program. He has been the recipient of the Carl Lasher Award, the William L. Tucher Award and the Rutherford Scholarship. Dr. Mike spends part of every week on the mobile dental van, providing care to children and adolescents that live in an area without access to care.
Dr. Mike is a member of the following organizations: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Eighth District Dental Society, Western New York Pediatric Dentistry Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, SUNY at Buffalo Alumni Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Mike is married, loves to travel, loves fast cars, and loves photography!
