Dr. Paul Creighton

Dr CreightonDr. Paul Creighton is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he completed both his dental degree as well as his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. “Dr. Paul” joined University Pediatric Dentistry in 1986. He received his BA in Biology from Saint Louis University.

Dr. Paul has been serving as faculty in the department of Pediatric and Community Dentistry for the University at Buffalo since 1986, and as Assistant Dean of Pediatric and Community Dentistry since 2004. Dr. Paul serves as both clinical instructor for predoctoral students at the School of Dental Medicine, and acts as Clinical Director for the specialty training program in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Paul is as advisor to the Maternal and Infant Health Clinic and is the director of the Low Birth Weight/Premature Infant Dental Plate Program. You will find Dr. Paul’s name on many published papers spanning numerous topics, many related to sedation. He has been the recipient of multiple research grants in the Buffalo community, and also helps to direct many service activities throughout Buffalo including Give Kids A Smile Day and Smile Education Day.

Dr. Paul is a member of the following organizations: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Eighth District Dental Society, Erie County Dental Society, Western New York Pediatric Dentistry Association, and the American Dental Association.
