Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

UPD Dental Associates’ Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery allows us to treat Western New York’s most complex oral surgery cases. We care for patients with congenital, developmental and acquired craniofacial disorders of the head, neck, teeth and jaw. Our highly trained surgeons also provide maxillofacial reconstruction for patients who may be challenged with congenital facial and skeletal deformities associated with cleft lip/palate and various other conditions. Additionally, we provide emergency treatment for jaw and facial injuries that is unavailable anywhere else in the Buffalo area for kids under 12.

COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 virus there are a few things that have changed to keep you, your child, and our staff safe.

1. Approximately 72 hours before surgery, our patients are mandated to be tested for the virus. If your child misses their test, your appointment will be cancelled. There are no dietary restrictions for the COVID-19 test. It is an oral swab test.

2. Only one adult is allowed on the actual surgery/sedation date. The adult that is present must be a legal guardian.

3. On the day of the sedation/surgery appointment appointment, you can park your vehicle and check in online under the 1091 Main Street tab. The link is here and at the top of our page. All oral surgery is done at this office.

We ask that you show up promptly for your appointment. Failing to show up to your appointment could result in a severe delay of treatment. Thank you in advance.
